Why Use Hidden Cameras: Because Of Abuse Like This

Monday, December 3rd, 2012

Why use hidden cameras? The answer is very simple. To catch the dirt being done behind your back when your not there. Abuse runs rampant throughout the world. Do you want to catch it, do you want to stop it and bring those who practice it to justice? We do, and that is why we are in this business. Read this and watch the video, it should grieve you greatly.

A disturbing case of abuse is caught on camera. On Monday a video of the abuse was released.

The 96-year-old victim suffered the abuse last April. Two people were arrested and charged for the incident.

The victim’s daughter set up the camera because things were being stolen from her mother’s room. Instead, the camera caught two women hurting and taunting the victim.

The family believes it’s the kind of abuse that all too often goes unreported.

“It’s still painful because our mother wouldn’t have hurt a fly,” Earlene Adkisson said.

“I think it’s sad anybody would have to go through this, ” Sandra Cisper said.

The hidden camera shows 96-year-old Eryetha Mayberry in a wheelchair.

One of the suspects, Lucy Gakunga, can be seen shoving wadded up latex gloves into her mouth. Read more, Watch video…

You can make a difference and catch those who are responsible for abusing your own loved ones “red handed”, as they say. I went through this with my mother. Nobody deserves that kind of treatment, especially when we are forced to pay so much for the care. Forget about the reputation of the establishment providing care, or the credentials of those watching your children. Find out for yourself what is going on when your not there.

Homeowner’s Hidden Camera Catches Attempted Burglary Suspects

Thursday, November 22nd, 2012

Outside surveillance cameras work great at deterring a lot of crime. However, some criminals are not deterred and will strike anyway. One of the best ways you can fight back is by the use of hidden cameras. Today hidden cameras are hidden in just about everything you can possibly think of and then some. The criminal in the video was caught by the use of just such a camera and the chances are more than just very good that he will be apprehended.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Neighbors of Priest Lake Forest Condominiums are working together by forming a neighborhood watch in an effort to help police catch burglars who have been breaking into homes in their neighborhood.

In the last two weeks, resident Laurie Glass said thieves have attempted to break into her home multiple times.

“One time I actually came home and they jimmied this door and had it off the track and they tried to, I don’t know if it was a crow bar or a knife and get in the lock and that did not work,” she said…Read More, Watch News Video

Use Of Hidden Cameras To Expand Across US

Saturday, November 10th, 2012

The video below shows one more chip of protection being taken away from the armor given to us by the Constitution of the United States to expect to have the right to privacy in and ON our own property. Whether they suspect something illegal is taking place or not, without a warrant, they should have no right to invade our privacy… Watch Video

What’s next? If the authorities suspect someone is involved in a sex act which may break some two hundred year old law, (and they do exist, sodomy for example)  in a field the couple owns next to their house, I guess that couple have no right to expect privacy on their own land from the government, or local police placing hidden cameras there without a warrant to catch them in the act.

Our problem with this is not about catching the criminals. It is about our constitutional rights and having them altered or taken away one by one. The eyes of Big Brother are indeed getting larger. We post a good bit about that. In the same way that many private citizens are breaking the law with hidden cameras, so is the government and many of the agencies charged with looking out for our best interest and protecting us.

Only a fool would believe all that comes out of their mouths is total truth and for our own good as a Nation. Contrary to what some may believe or try to tell you, there is no refer madness sweeping our land and killing our youth by the thousands in a way that warrants the use of hidden cameras against our Constitutional Rights as given and intended by our forefathers.

They could and would have gotten the proof of criminal activity without once again taking away a piece of the Constitutional Rights our citizens, most of which are law abiding, have a right to expect. We would like to know how you feel about this. Please post a comment.

Bainbridge Man Accused Of Secretly Recording Kids With Hidden Cameras, Indicted On 78 Counts

Sunday, October 28th, 2012

Another case in point, this one a bit much to believe. We sell and stand behind the use of hidden cameras for the protection and peace of mind they can bring to law abiding people using them in a lawful manner, not for the use that this man has employed them for. He will see some serious jail time and justly so.

CLEVELAND – A man is facing 78 counts related to pornography after the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office says he was secretly recording family members.

An undercover investigator with the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force responded to an Internet ad posted by 59-year-old Allen Warner. The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office said Warner wanted to trade secretly recorded videos of “loved ones” doing sexual acts.

“I think just the nature of his technology, he was able to create a lot of hidden cameras out of everyday objects.  And when we went to these victims and told them this was the possibility, and that this may have been what’s happening and actually found these devices still in their homes, that sort of struck me.”  Said David Frattare, Investigator with the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

On Oct. 17, Prosecutors said Warner met with an undercover agent and showed the man, who he believed was a father willing to record his daughter nude, his surveillance equipment. Prosecutors said Warner had alarm clocks and DVD players containing hidden cameras…Read more

Interlachen Man Convicted Of Videoing Teen Girls In Bathroom

Friday, October 26th, 2012

And here we go again, another pervert that the girls knew and trusted. I am not sure that stiffer laws and penalties for this particular type of crime would do any good at curving it at all. We would fill the jails though. This is only going to get worse with the availability of hidden cameras for home use. Many are selling what they record. The act of videoing teen girls as well as other women is big business these days.

A jury deliberated for less than an hour Wednesday after a two-day trial before finding an Interlachen man guilty of secretly videotaping teenage girls.

Frank Landon Adams, 53, used a hidden camera in 2009 and 2010 to film two 16-year-old girls when they used his home’s guest bathroom, according to a State Attorney’s Office news release.

Adams also put a hidden camera in one of the girls’ bedroom closets so he could tape her.

He was convicted of four counts of video voyeurism, all first-degree misdemeanors, according to the news release…Read more…

With the widespread illegal use of hidden cameras, it only makes sense to think about the use of small hand held bug detectors.

Peeping Tom Caught On His Own Hidden Cameras : Your Need For A Bug Detector

Thursday, October 25th, 2012

Not all criminals are this dumb and there are many of them out there. The use of bug detectors and other counter surveillance measures and equipment is the way to ensure this does not happen to you.

Police say a Maryland man trying to film two female roommates with hidden cameras instead filmed himself and unwittingly helped authorities catch him in the alleged act of peeping.

Michael Stephen McKenny, 42, was arrested Thursday after Maryland police released footage of the alleged Peeping Tom setting up his cameras, which the women found.

“What we found is that the camera had been set up in June and operated through a motion detector,” said Sherry Llewellyn, a spokeswoman for the Howard County Police Department.

In court documents, police say that for more than four months McKenny captured images of the unnamed women in their bathrooms and bedrooms, in all stages of undress, even…Read more

Hamptons Landlord Used Hidden Cameras In His Rental Property

Thursday, October 18th, 2012

This is another case where hidden cameras were used in the wrong way and for the wrong reasons. It is also a good reason to arm yourself with the means to protect yourself from the use of these hidden cameras, because they are not going to stop being used by bad people who do bad and unlawful things with them.

The family called police and when officers searched the house they discovered cameras in a bedroom baseboard heater, in a smoke detector and over the Jacuzzi

A landlord hid a string of cameras which secretly recorded a family as they changed and bathed in his plush New York summer rental property.

Police and the District Attorney office are investigating what images landlord Donald Torr from Celebration in Florida stored of the unidentified family when they rented his home in  in Winterberry Lane near Gardiners Bay, in the Hamptons area of the city.

Torr faces a $4.6million lawsuit charge after the family, which included three young children, the oldest of which was just seven, discovered they were being surreptitiously recorded.

When approached by a journalist from the New York Post Torr said he had the cameras installed to protect against squatters and that he didn’t know children had been taped.

He said: ‘We had break-ins and problems, people have stayed in the house that were unauthorized.’

Police said they were wading through the footage from the cameras in the bathrooms and bedroomsRead more…

If you take vacations where you rent a property, you should sweep that property using a bug detector. These are readily available to the general public and worth their weight in gold when it comes to finding hidden surveillance cameras or audio mikes. The people in the Hamptons were very lucky to have found them at all.

We read a lot of stories about the misuse of hidden cameras in public dressing rooms, bathrooms, etc. For every case that comes to light there are many more that do not. This is not going to go away, but understand, that it is not the camera that is at fault, it is the person using it, just as it is with guns. The use of  counter surveillance tools such as a bug detector puts a fast stop to you being unknowingly watched. If you spend time in Motels, Hotels, etc. you should look into the purchase of a bug detector, because the hidden cameras are not going away and the hidden cameras with built in DVR’s are even easier to use.

Surveillance Cameras Being Installed In Every City

Wednesday, October 17th, 2012

It doesn’t matter where you look, you will find surveillance systems, CCTV, surveillance cameras, in most cities throughout the United States. We are being watched and it is welcomed by so many citizens who are so afraid of the world we now live in.

The trouble is that this is not just local video anymore. Big Brother is in it, in a big way, and what they may be doing with your personal info should be of great concern to you since your constitutional rights for sure will be being violated sooner or later. That is not what this post is about , but rather one more bit of info to show you just how prevalent the use of surveillance systems are becoming in our country.

Privately I believe them to be the cat’s meow. And I believe they are great at deterring and solving crimes. That is why I sell them. I do not trust our government to do the right thing with the info that they are collecting on each and every one of us.They do bring down crime and I do believe in them. Not so happy with our government.

Hidden Spy Cameras In Women’s Restrooms And Dressing Rooms

Sunday, October 14th, 2012

We have given a good bit of information on this subject over the last few months, because we believe it to be a very important matter. The use of hidden cameras unlawfully is something to both keep informed about and know how to protect yourself from.

In recent months, there has been an epidemic of hidden spy cameras being found in areas where the public expects privacy. In August, a hidden camera was discovered in the fitting room of a Gap store in Southern California. There have also been recent discoveries at the Omni Hotel San Diego, where a hotel employee admitted to placing a hidden camera in a public restroom, and at a Sears in North Hollywood, where an employee allegedly hid up to 60 camerasin store dressing rooms over a three year period.

In spite of these examples, the hidden camera epidemic is still relatively unrecognized by businesses all over the country.

“It’s really astonishing how frequently spy cameras are being found, I expect this trend to only worsen as spy cameras get cheaper and become more available to the public,” says Steven Rowin, a privacy consultant at GP Privacy Solutions. “Businesses need to be aware of this growing threat and take a more proactive roll in preventing this type of activity from causing harm to their customers.” … Read More

Since these hidden cameras have become so mainstream to abuse by those with other than honorable intentions, we have been of the strong belief that the ownership and use of bug detectors by those most at risk is something to be considered. Why?, because as it is written, “Businesses have yet to take this threat to their consumers seriously enough”.
